I need to put my face over the toilet after watching this, just a consistent stomach ache. So much body horror and gore.
Point of the movie: The entertainment and fame industry is killing its workers, and you are perfect and human as you are, AND you can't stop aging, so don't try because it will make you hate yourself for real reasons rather than the fake ones you made up about yourself. But all easier said than done.

The movie drew me in with aesthetics; specifically Sophie Thatcher in the blue outfit. Something about very light and feminine aesthetics coupled with a dark and sinister plot, but then again light and feminine aesthetics are brought about by a sinister, toxic-masculine background.
The movie draws you in so quickly; it's a situation where it climaxes immediately so you're on the edge of your seat for the rest of the movie.

I can’t be on this app without talking about my favorite movie ever. Starting with the aesthetic — the whimsical, nature, colorful aesthetic that they placed well in less colorful London (?). From Wednesday to Penelope, Christina Ricci does an amazing job of playing women who allow themselves to be odd and normalize it. I think this movie revolutionized self-love for me and maybe it will for you too. James Macavoy in his dreamboat prime as a sulky piano player…
