Harakiri 1962
I thought it was going to be boring, just action, samurais, and a typical dad cinephile movie. but I was absolutely wrong. This movie is a simple masterpiece; it has neither more nor less.
This film explores the life of the samurai, honor, justice, and the power system. The hypocrisy of honor codes and the indifference of the powerful toward the poor are central themes, conveyed brilliantly through the protagonist.
In short, an amazing film.

Breakfast at Tiffany's 1961
I can’t overlook the racism, sorry. But beyond that, I really love the portrayal of the female protagonist—it feels very real, and Audrey Hepburn was the perfect actress for the role! Also, please take the cat away from that house; it doesn’t deserve any of that TT
