Suffragette 2015
This is one of those movies where I don't know whether I should rate it based on my own enjoyment or its value as an art piece. One thing I can say for sure is that if you have attention span problems this is a really good movie for you because it is so fast paced. So fast paced that it felt a little bland, almost like eating fast food. I enjoyed the movie and it did make me feel a LOT of things as a woman but overall, it wasn't well made.

After the Wong Kar-wai craze dimmed out, many people on the internet including some of my real life friends told me how the movies were overrated and described them as only aesthetically pleasing with really slow pace which made me a little sad because I really liked the cinematography from the get go. But thank god I watched it with very low expectations because this movie greatly exceeded it. I personally enjoyed the storytelling and was really engaged in it.…

Something that won't leave your mind for a long time. It has been a week since I watched it yet I keep "replaying" it in my mind from the start to the very last second. It is there with every detail. And that is exactly why it is 5 stars for me. It is something striking, something that you can't seem to forget (even if you want to.. haha).
