  How can you fuck up that hard ? 

  The idea was excellent and the setup was very good. But for some reason only the first 45min of the movie is interresting.

  TLDR: Russians introduce their national sport to Vietnam.

  The Deer Hunter has an amazing cast and tells a really powerful story about the impact of war on people and their communities. The cinematography is stunning, with some shots that will probably be in my memory forever (For exemple the hutting). The music is just phenomenal. 

  That said, the pacing and structure can be tough to get through. The 45-minute wedding scene, while beautifully done, feels way too long and spends too…
