  totally get the comments about the scriptwriting and how it feels surface-level and unpolished. but nonetheless, the concept and message is there.

  i think a problem the Philippines has is that we see things from a far and generalized perspective instead of looking closely at the individual stories of victims—sort of like the opposite of seeing the general in the particular. it was only when i started reading about the personal stories of the War on Drugs and Martial Law victims that the gravity of those situations truly hit me. which is why i loved seeing this specific narrative told.
