  I don’t remember a lot of my childhood, mostly just snippets here and there throughout the years. But one clear memory that I do have is in 2009—when I was five years old—when my dad and uncle took me to the movie theater to see Ponyo, the first Studio Ghibli movie that I had seen. 

  Although I don’t remember watching any of the movie, I remember my dad and uncle singing the credits song to me on the car ride…

  Jesus Christ, why did I think it would be a good idea to see this in the theatre alone. 

  Great movie, but I do NOT have the stomach for body horror oml (e.g. almost had to leave during the hypnosis scene)
