    The whole film was shot beautifully, even the presence of the worms. But everything that happened on Harkonnen took my breath away. The black sun’s effect on the arena fight with na-Baron to the water-like fireworks were especially stunning. It’s that harsh contrast of the stylised black and white was incredible.

    It was definitely made for the people who had read the books, which I completely respect (I know I wouldn’t want my favourite book series to be ruined because the adaptation dumbed everything down), but I’m not going to pretend that I didn’t find it a little hard to follow at times.

    There was no clear plot or goal. Every scene was either unnecessary, unimportant, or underused. It was so convoluted to the point that you didn’t actually care.

    Don’t initially believe the lies you and everyone else in the city have been fed because they may be immediately broken within minutes when talking to its king.

    You couldn't connect with any of the characters’ forced lines or personalities, and they weren't properly introduced. It all felt like Disney assumed the audience would immediately fall in love with everyone.
