Bittersweet Love leaves us in tears
Edward Scissorhands is a rollercoaster of a movie; the first moment you’re loving the vibrant characters and the development of their relationship with Edward, the next you are bawling your eyes out over the forbidden slow burn between Edward and Kim. I personally love this film! It has Burton’s usual unusualness and gothic tones, adds a cute love trope between the two main characters, and has a beautiful soundtrack to it.
