"The only way to communicate how death truly feels is through absence."
A poignant drama about grief, family, and acceptance that stays with you long after it ends.

Still gathering my thoughts on the movie, but if there's one thing I can say for sure, is that Kendrick is a marvelous director. Her way of portraying the terrifying feeling of living under the sword of the patriarchy is remarkable. Her choice of pacing is questionable, but this is a solid debut and I can't wait to see more from her.
It's hilarious to me that Yorgos Lanthimos thinks his absurdism is intellectual, when it's, at best, laughable. Kinds Of Kindness is so awful, even Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons' brilliant performances couldn't save it.
