One of the more unique movies I have seen in a while. While I wouldn't classify this movie as a horror hardly at all, the ending gave me chills and left me satisfied.

The filmography of the movie is pretty unique, and for the first 1/3, I was trying to figure out what was going on, but Soderbergh does a great job diverting and not giving a ton away too quickly. The story is relatively simple, and comes together so…

Overwhelmingly visual, in a good way. This film has and will continue to win awards for its picture, and especially its score. Extremely powerful music, visuals, and acting. Where the film falls flat for me is the ending… it leaves a lot of questions and emphasizes something so obscure in comparison to the rest of the film. “it’s the destination that’s important”, though we see a 3.5 hour proceeding to this of the journey, one that’s quite wild and otherworldly compared to its ending… The epilogue is confusing and not sure of its function, but the movie in its entirety was captivating.

Was well done. Held you in suspense for a while without jump scared, which I thought was solid. As with all horror movies, there were several unrealistic things that didn’t have great explanations, but the movie itself didn’t hurt too much from it.

I couldn’t even tell you what it was about… somewhat entertaining, but quite confusing.
