  For some reason even though I knew this was based on a graphic novel I always thought it was going to be a tearjerker period drama about fascism rather than a silly goofy superhero flick about fascism. So at first I was pleasantly surprised and was having a lot of fun with it but about halfway through I found myself wishing it actually were a sappy drama. Just feel like this concept might be better delivered with a bit more subtext and depth. But on the other hand, Hugo Weaving is really cunty in this. So I guess you win some you lose some.

  It's missing something. My head hurts too much to find what it is or put it into words, but there is just this particular thing this movie doesn't do for me to consider it perfect. But I had a great time at the theater and it's sparkling and shiny and pretty so like who even cares tbh idk
