Great camera work, great lighting and pyro, the revolting nature of drake paired with the charisma of kendrick created something beautiful on that stage

A very pretty film, with a charming framing device which melts before the film's principle setpiece, the battle of agincourt and its immediately preceding/proceeding events. I never got Olivier until watching this, and understand why his radio performance of the climactic speech inspired the production of this film under very limited circumstances during the second world war.

Technicolor is really astounding, and to think that this film, looking this spectacular, is as old as it is really impresses me, though…

Jesus fucking christ. This is the worst anime production I've ever watched. This is a disaster of cgi space ships, contrived bullshit, absurd degradation of the themes and concepts present in older Evangelion media. This film did not just disappoint me, it astounded me in its awfulness. One should revel in it, if you'd want to watch it. 2 hours and 35 minutes, for the least interesting and satisfying Evangelion conclusion yet. Just watch End of Evangelion, if you want to enjoy Evangelion or experience it.

"What if a comedian got in trouble online and instead of becoming a mindless zombie railing against cancel culture he actually remembered how to tell jokes and be funny".
