Mission: Impossible 1996
Many of the newer entries have gone bigger (and arguably better), but there's still something so charming about this movie that's on the one hand more grounded and simple, while also having a great screenplay with interesting twists and turns, keeping you engaged at all times. It also introduced the world to the iconic Ethan Hunt, Tom Cruise's career defining character. Combine that with some awesome action setpieces and you get yourself a really good film
