I have a thing for thrillers where the "home alone" trope doesn't become against the character (speaking of windows -yes, I'm talking to you, Secret Window). Apparentely most of the budget went on the house and Gary Oldman indirectly offending me but I'm fine with it. Also, the infant térrible prompt deserves more spotlight.

First half was amazing, the notion of a vampire society where humans are lacking and how to deal with it worked beautifully. But then the ending was so... hollow, perhaps? If you think of it the cure will just lead to extintion eventually for very few survivors/cured can endure. But hey, great for trying and giving me a vampire named Edward I can actually love.
