    The Coffee Table

This film is definitely, a lot of bit, disturbing. It encompasses, just about, the most taboo. There's really not much else going on. It felt very gimmicky to me.

This is not something I usually associate with Spanish language films. They are known for speaking more concisely, and having a very good reveal.

This film was, unfortunately, very amateurish, in just about, everyway. The dialogue was horrendous, and visibly had no goal/ eventual outcome. It wasn't even believable dialogue, and…

I have to give it an extra star, for it's proclivity towards increased transgenderism awareness.

The delivery of it's message, was a bit of a miss.

It might not have been fully materialized. Also, it was heavy handed, in its delivery, of a singular, multidimensional, constant.

Besides that, it was deeply impactful, just not truly resonant.

That of which, art is made or broken, because it is, the dividing line.

Red Moon Tide is a meditative existential waking nightmare. It calls upon the meditation of existence, morality, and reason. Through single frames it covers the universal singularity. Calamity, loneliness, and despair... all on full display. It's most frightening aspect is what the film questions and doesn't resolve.

The open void of existence, and its apparent senselessness. Our great war is a spiritual war, our great depression is our lives.

    There is no thought without…

    The Coveted Melodrama

As a television and film critic I hold melodramas in the highest regard. There are many contributing factors causing this to be so. The main reason is how hard they are to do well. With other genres certain strengths and weaknesses are common place and will often not impede on the overall success of the film. This is because different genres have different goals. It's not that hard to scare people, create tension, cgi a spaceship, or…
