  Gaspard Ulliel was a great actor and today's tragic news on his death reminded me of his best performance in Saint Laurent, which I thought and still think was the best perform by an actor in 2014, and very much unappreciated. I hope the audience will get to revisit his films and see what a tragic loss for the cinema his death is.

  When you wait 10 months for a film and it’s all you expected and more! Yes, this magical realism, tomb stealing, Josh O’Connor rugged, sad and sexy still, Italian film, well this is made for my cinematic heaven. The most soulful film in a long time, that even a misanthrope, atheist as myself can maybe ponder on the existence of the soul and where it goes. And what remains. Must watch! Best film of 2024 so far (and of course it had to be a 2023 film like this one!!!)
