This would've gone so hard if it fully committed to slapstick Homedy, or even full uncomfortable drawn out serious(?) gore.
Also would've gone hard if Hal had any charisma. Like at all. The most unrealistic thing in the film was that Hal had enough charm to eventually father a kid.
A film that asks "If you had a second chance to save someone from someone that you know is bad would you take it" and answers it with "yes of course you idiot i dont even need to think about it why are you even asking"
It clearly has a specific (like, really specific, nicher than niche (for a film)) audience but damn am i it.
The most "we need the scene to do this so we can move on to another unrelated scene that needs to do that so we can..." film ive ever seen
