Captain America: Brave New World 2025
I watched 1hr 30 mins and fuck all happened. First 5 minutes had potential then it went south. Tell me how you saw as much red hulk in the trailer as you did in the full 2 hour film. Marvel is cooked, they’ve got all these planet killing enemies coming and they resulted to a “calm down” resolution for hulk. HULK. Marvel need a serious 90+7 minute winner here to pull back its credibility.

Godzilla × Kong: The New Empire 2024
BIG MONKEY + BIG LIZARD but double it. The CGI was incredible, and the plot cooked much better than I thought it would. The podcast guy kinda had a bit of a comeback story in his character arc cus I didn’t find him completely jarring in the end. The whole scale of how big these monsters are in relation to humans is baffling as mini kong (the GOAT) was still fucking wham. Great film, great fights, BIG UP KONG. Can’t wait too see what happens next.

The Tunnel 2011
If you like watching darkness for around 20 minutes of the film and spectating blocks of grey pixels then this films for you. Some of the jump scares had me fucked up but the fact that ‘Tangles’ was 50% of the script took away from any chance of me being properly scared. The concept was good and it had very good potential but saying it’s “based on a true story” but it’s completely fictional took away from the authenticity. I think if they remake it, make it look like the budget was more than a Tesco’s Meal Deal.
