I really enjoyed how Eisenberg was able to be so emotional with this movie without actually portraying his emotions very much. He created a very real bond between himself and Caulkin and I honestly felt every bit of envy and hatred and love for Caulkins character. There was a lot of emotional undertones and personal points to be made in this film but to do so on a journey through Jewish Poland history especially involving the holocaust felt unnecessary. It…

Incredible. My first Cronenberg and certainly not my last. This 90 minute films does so much not only as its own entity but for the wider world of cinema. Deep diving into humanity’s obsession with sex, violence and death. How we view it, how we create it and how we share it. Not only does it do that though it forces the viewer into looking at themselves, into how easily we are persuaded from things on screen.
