Okay hilarious at times and enjoyable but you can so obviously tell this movie was written by a man. Anora’s character is severely underdeveloped and the whole plot revolves around Vanya and his family yet we don’t actually find out their backstory yet he gets 90% of the focus of the plot. Mikey did amazing and truly deserved the Oscar, but like yikes. Felt like watching euphoria with the amount of sex scenes, female nudity, and use of the word “fuck,” but it was good and had a lot of potential.
