I need to say right out the gate that this film went a different direction that what I originally thought it would go.

I believe my favorite thing about Bong Joon-ho's films is how he creates these political commentary stories in a very unique way. I always know going into his films that it will feel very original. Specific to this film, my favorite thing has to be Pattison's performance. I am willing to say he is the most underrated…

To start, I must say that this was a blast to watch at the theater and have not had this much fun watching a movie since the first time I saw The Substance. I would describe this as a sci-fi thriller that throws a few curveballs at the audience. I have started to go into things completely blind and this one did not disappoint. It was a very fun watch.

I do not want to spoil the film so I…

Will update my thoughts later as it is late. For now, just know this was a very interesting and harrowing watch!

I must start out saying that I typically go into films blind. I try my best to not know too much of the plot to take in everything all at once. This is oke film where I feel going in blind causes confusion. I was expecting something along the lines of Call Me By Your Name, which is a mistake on my part.

There is no denying this is a Luca film, with his beautiful use of long shots to…

I went into this very blind. The only thing I knew is that Brody has a thick accent and that the runtime was long.
This was so good and I understand why it is nominated for an Oscar. The cinematography, score and acting are my favorite things about this film.
I haven't stopped thinking of it since leaving the theater and I think it will stick with me for a few days. Does capitalism corrupt art????

Vertigo is the film that finally made me understand why Hitchcock is such an icon. I grew up watching The Birds with my grandmother and recently saw Rear Window, but this one? Absolutely fantastic. His use of color and those specific camera angles? Almost genius-level stuff. I was really struck by how visually stunning it was and feel like I do not see similar visuals in today's cinema.

It wasn’t as tense as Rear Window, but it had that psychological…
