Nosferatu 2024
Nosferatu as a concept usually struggles for me by virtue of being a poor adaptation of Dracula with the names filed off and switched around. That said, Eggers does something very good with the material he's got. The Witch is still my favourite of his films, but this is a close second.

Gandhi 1982
Had to watch this for a class. Coincidently, my favourite moment in that class was when a student from Pakistan absolutely tore this film to shreds. It's a whitewashed film about a very unsavory man. Also, it's way too long. Do yourself and others a favour and instead of watching this film, read up on Gandhi's legacy of Hindu nationalism, his misogyny, his classicism, and the hand he played in the partition of india. A-historic, and to top it all off, used brownface to make the actor darker. Genuinely do not watch this film.

This film has everything: bromance, action sequences, tigers, musical numbers, some of the wildest action sequences I've ever seen in my life. Three hours is a long run time, but by god does it make use of that time. The acting is fantastic and it truly deserved its oscar for the music, I've had them in my head ever since watching.
