Aban + Khorshid 2014
yea no the film is not good itself but that's not the whole thing to me right now as it tries to speak about a truth that wasn't told enough. The last sentence "to those who risk their lives for love." hits home as i, myself, have felt this danger and been close to it.
A month ago i watched a short film about lesbians, based on a poem by Lisa Luxx. A part of it goes "public is a place to hold each other safe, a softness so often ambushed by shame." I was thinking about it while watching Aban+Khorshid. They weren't ambushed by shame tho.Translated from by -
