Barbie of Swan Lake 2003
this movie is a staple for girlhood, it does everything it’s supposed to. for such an early time in 3d animation, mattel and the production team on this movie did amazing!!!!
as a former ballet dancer, the movie’s choreography is actually very well done! the writing is very… little-girl-who-idolizes-Barbie-ish. however, that’s not to say it isn’t good; i do think the writing is good for a 2000s semi-low budget, experimental Barbie movie!
the fashion—the costumes are actually somewhat well done! girls everywhere expect Barbie to always be styled up, and she delivered (yet again)!
