What a stupid film. The plot gives it so much potential but then it's totally trampled on by humour that really shouldn't land with anyone old enough to watch it. Had to walk out about 30 mins in because the "superhero voiceover" was just irritating.
I stumbled across this film during BFI Flare and was so impressed. What an incredible narrative, and to think it's based on a true story. Everything from the locations, set design and specifically the costume design was of such a high quality for what was presumably an independent film budget. Tom Prior is next level in this, both in his capacity as portraying Sergey, and likewise in his involvement as co-writer and producer.
