Two people fumble and then are sad about it later. Jk, kinda. This movie was so depressing, but I really thought this movie did a good job at displaying intimacy without making it obvious. The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent 2022
I feel like I’ve been watching so many serious and sad movies as of late I needed a cleanse and just watch something kind of silly (Manchester by the Sea was probably the final straw). Found myself pleasantly surprised with this. It’s about what you’d expect from a Pedro Pascal and Nicholas Cage buddy film but Nicholas Cage playing as himself made for a funny / self-aware dynamic.
