the first time i watched this movie i bawled my eyes out thinking i understood nick and david, everything that theyve gone through. its been a couple years since then, having gone through life as one does realizing how little i truly understood. i saw myself as nick so many times in his actions and in his words. its so crazy how i thought i knew this movie the first time but only truly understood it when i lived it
