adore this movie, it has some of the most spectacular musical sequences of the modern era, & the monkey rlly does work, but it must be said the liam gallagher scene was a "Youre being a little mean there, Liam Gallagher from Oasis" away from just being one of the musician cameo scenes in Walk Hard

Joker: Folie à Deux 2024
rewatched this in a legally ambiguous way to catch two short bits i missed in the theater cus i was picking up & later refilling popcorn and wound up getting sucked in all over again (and enjoyed it just as much! i was worried after liking the first a little less on rewatch the same would happen here). I guess im just jokerfied and when I go to Lil Caesers i ask for the normal bread because everyone hates this movie but I think its pretty alright! Not a misunderstood masterpiece or something since it is rather messy, but its better than its reputation imo.

Knuckles is very frontloaded in this largely disappearing in the backhalf. And this plays out less like a TV show & more like an extended edition of a direct to dvd spinoff to the big Sonic movies (notably, Paramount+ didnt bother to have recaps between episodes).
