ego drives this movie and i wanna point out one thing in particular - the tired trope of men coming to rescue women. between ivan being an actual spaghetti noodle with a bank account, to the moment igor was on screen, i was just icked out. igor telling ivan in the final hour to apologize to anora was male gazey saviour crap that was infuriating, over and above everything else she had to endure. perhaps that was the point? men…
