  good film almost great but good (i think)

  it explores the themes of friendship, masculinity, grief and also guilt quite well without much direct dialogue surrounding those themes. the depiction of other male friendships + relationships in this story show such beautiful intimacy that is very rarely shown - i.e. the paternal relationship and it’s closeness  HOWEVER its just not quite thereeee in retrospect.
