Went in not knowing much about what the movie was gonna be like. Only have seen ad’s in scrolling but it caught my attention to go see it in theaters.
Honestly, a solid enjoyable watch. Great story and message about abusive relationships, the advancements in technology and overall need for control. There may have a few slips that I noticed but not enough to damage my viewing of the film. Great cast and great mixture of comedy and thriller.
Was not expecting the movie to be so interesting, so thought provoking, so gnarly. I was drawn in the whole time and couldn’t wait to see what happened next. It’s a modern Jekyl and Hyde and I think that is the best form of storytelling.
Terrible movie, horribly marketed as one thing and given something completely different. Did not live up to the expectations of what Alex Garland has produced in the past. Don’t know how this comes from the same film production as other cult classics. If I didn’t know already I wouldn’t have guessed it came from A24
