Having now completed Antonioni’s trilogy, I guess I can say he’s not really my cup of tea so far (although I did enjoy La Notte).
Perhaps it’s me, and maybe I will understand and appreciate these films at a later stage of my life, but nothing happens for the majority of the movie. The parts in the stock market are unnecessarily long and they really don’t add much to the film other than runtime.
I can’t empathise with the characters…
