  One of the many things I love about the movie Whiplash is that it feels like a love letter to jazz, despite the craziness surrounding the main relationship.
  Challengers on the other hand feels like a love letter to poor interpersonal communication skills and 3 way kisses. I personally wish we got a bit more tennis with our toxicity.

  (As a side note, I don't know if the directors intent was to leave me absolutly dying of laughter come the end of the movie, but if it was then he succeeded.)

  A well shot movie almost entirely devoid of substance. It felt like the filmmakers gave an extra wide berth to any real world issues but failed to replace those voids in the setting with worldbuilding of their own. America feels almost entirely unrecognizable, as does any morals or lessons the filmmakers may have wished to impress upon us.
