Barbie 2023
Where do I even start. Barbie was the most accurate representation of the world we live in, it was literally "If you don't like the movie, you didn't understand it (and you're probably a man)". The way they slowly introduce the idea of feminism into Barbie land was simply brilliant. I left the cinema speechless, literally. It's one of those movies that just change you as a person. All I have to say is bravo, congratulations on such a masterpiece.

After watching the first one, I didn't really think they'd be able to make it even better. Animation wise, it was mesmerising; there's a specific scene where Moana is in front of a whale, and it just took my breath away. The cultural representation is brilliant and respectful. The only downside is that the story that the writers tried to develop was too complex for the 90 minutes that the movie lasted, it felt too short; although maybe that's a sign of me enjoying it.
