  I think michael stuhlbarg’s monologue at the end really pushed this over the edge from a phenomenal film to
  an all timer. i love how it captures the bitter melancholy of such a short lived yet beautiful relationship. i also really like how it lets us linger in some of the moments not daring to cut from a shot, for we may forget it entirely. the film wants us to keep the moments, and suffer through them so we may keep them forever
