Challengers 2024
This movie was so good I had to come back to letterbox to review it. Easily the most compelling sports drama I’ve seen. Immaculately shot and creatively told, Challengers should be nominated for best picture all I’m saying

Deadpool & Wolverine 2024
D&W surpasses the raunchy humor of the first two by implementing one of the best and most sought after duos in marvel. Chock full of great jokes, awesome action set pieces, and genuinely earned cameos. Deadpool and Wolverine is a great comedy about superhero movies and the genre as well as being an homage to bygone superhero movies.

The Empire Strikes Back 1980
Arguably the best sequel ever made. Not cause it’s best picture winner or anything, but because it does exactly what it should. Expand the world of Star Wars, create conflict for characters that seemed hollow at first, and for doing something called “movie magic” Empire is a test of hollywoods capability when it comes to basic storytelling, while also furthering the landscape of visual effects, production design, costumes and makeup, and of course music. Even if you don’t like Star Wars, there’s something beautifully romantic about this sci fi/fantasy adventure. It never got better from here

Dream Scenario 2023
Strikes an interesting concept, with some parts funny and a good leading Cage. Also be ready to feel pissed off because the movie knows what’s it’s doing. Good looking movie though I wish the dream visuals were more out there and less subdued, but that’s an artistic choice and this movie is quite good at being weird and still watchable.
