As a black cat owner every single thing that happened to the main character made me feel uneasy... I was worried I wouldn't be able to pay attention due to the lack of dialogue but.. What an emotional rollercoaster! Beautiful, stressful, heartwarming. The long "single shot" takes were PERFECT for maintaining the film's pace, the score and the camera movement made this a real cinematic experience.
Flow served as an allegory for so many aspects of life—change, trauma, crisis, relationships, grief, the constant fight for survival with little to no moments of reprieve. Absolutely deserving of the Oscar.Translated from by -
