really compelling snapshot of a family that isn't all that dysfunctional given what they deal with and the times in which they live -- i would also go goblin mode. skillful integration of a trans protagonist and storyline without focusing on it to the detriment of the rest of the plot, or repeating too many of the boring clichés you get in every other film with a young trans character.
