La La Land 2016
La La Land is so clever in fully utilising all technical aspects of a film to bring out emotion and yearning. I loved how sound and light was used to transition scenes, especially in the “what if” sequence. It’s sad how a lot of people don’t pay enough attention into the beauty of cinematography anymore and only on how engaging a plot is. Fr “they worship everything and they value nothing.”
