Firstly just happy to hear Doug Cockle of Rivia again.
Secondly, a fun adaptation of one of the most memorable parts of the books for me.
Thoroughly enjoyable, love the animation, love the voice acting.

Solid as hell. I really enjoy the cast a lot and I feel like at the time it came out a lot of filmmakers would be too afraid to do the opening scene as it was. Not even just for shock value, but to really set the tone for how high stakes each interaction with Pennywise could be.

A literal 20 year old movie already that is only now really showing any age at all in the CGI, and you gotta be looking for it in most shots.
Still incredible to me to this day.
Chasm scene still fills me with visceral fear.
A story that in some ways really resonated. As a person who has used food to cope with grief and emotions and has always had a bad relationship with food, it was a hard watch, and I saw myself on a path from a few years ago.
It gives a viscerally raw portrayal of guilt, shame, grief, regret that I feel like a lot of media misses on or doesn't nail the nuance on.
