i don’t care what anyone says i do love this movie but it’s never been five stars bc i recognize that it’s flawed. i just think it’s really fun and awesome and i like when girls are strange and off putting and feel estranged in their community bc it’s relatable :-P

jesus fucking christ. this started out so cute and silly w like undertones of fascist italy and by the end of the movie i had cried so hard my entire neck and chest were sopping wet. that was genuinely devastating im still trying to recover. also the atop motion animation is crazy good and really detailed and im obsessed w the interpretation of the blue fairy giving biblically accurate angel. i desperately want to know if candlewick is okay i wish we saw him again
