Honestly if you liked the ridiculousness of the first one, I think you’ll like this one too. Its equally as insanely bloody and gorey as the first one but if you know what to expect it’s not as shocking.
In terms of story, in my opinion it’s better than the first one as there actually is something a bit more concrete to follow (but saying that who really watches Terrifier for the story lol).
It definitely has that grindhouse charm…
I’m always a sucker for films that look pretty asf, and Longlegs is definitely one of those films. The cuts between the scenes shot on 35mm to digital is beautiful, and the colour grading is excellent.
It definately stars as a slow burner, and I found it confusing for a good chunk of the film, but any confusion I had definitely resolved itself as it went on.
I only picked up on whats seen recurring in the backgroud about halfway…
