Ghost Dog is a fun movie that pays respect to old film genres, acting as almost an I spy of tropes and gimmicks from Samurai/old west, Italian Mob, and Blaxploitation films. Despite this fun idea of paying homage to film and it's tropes from highly popular and influential genres it is more than just that, using it's cast of gimmicky characters to make a an interesting story.
