Snow White 2025
I adored this movie. The acting from Zegler and the rest of the crew felt believable. I loved the new songs and the deep meaning behind the lyrics. Gal Gadot's incredibly jarring performance made the Evil Queen seem sinister and mentally unwell, which actually helped make me feel uncomfortable whenever she was on screen. The dwarfs looked like odd bobble heads and ridiculous, but the voice acting was relatively strong. I do a half star less because I think they should have used real actors, but because I respect the voice actors, I give it the other half.

I'm Autistic and was asked to watch this movie to give a review from the perspective of a person with the disability shown in the film. Sadly, the trauma and abuse caused by the parents and the severe disregard for their son's legitimate needs was all to real. The use of overstimulation as a tool of abuse and the abandonment of the parents after realizing that their son was not "just dealing with the real world" was also very real.…
