  FIRST MONTHLY INSTALLMENT OF TASTE THE SCENE!!! 🍽️🎬

  Menu: 
  - Gumbo: 8.5/10, super bellywarming yumminess, the hot sauce definitely brought it up in ranking. Loved having a big stock pot to eat from just like Tiana and her dad.
  - Beignets: 7/10, I messed up the first batch of dough so the second attempt was rushed and didn’t get to chill so they were a little too airy. But still good and the powder sugar helped bring it all together. 
  - Swamp Juice: 10/10, I made limeade floats with sherbet and it was AMAZING and gave such good swamp vibes

  Fork & Film experience: 9.5/10

  Bought this today at the thrift. I’ve decided I’m going through all the movies I’ve cried at and rewatching them to see if I still cry. This was the 1st one up. 

  While I have severely outgrown this movie, and the early 2000’sness is palpable throughout, I ALMOST made it through without crying until his speech about blaming himself at the end. Then the relatability hit too strong and I shed a single tear from each eye. 

  Well Bridge to Terabithia… you’ve bested me again. 1/1
