  My favorite detail is how his shoes are a reflection of how he feels. His love for pure jazz and his pride in it is shown through his shoes. When he changes what he believes JAZZ should be by joining the messengers, he loses the shoes as well his integrity. His jazz shoes returning when he opens Seb’s just makes me want to scream. Even in the possibility shown of Seb never joining the band, he keeps his tap shoes…
