Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets 2017
A francophonic SF jewel come to life. And like the comic, it's a bit childish and rough, but it compensates more than enough with its hyperimaginative cosmic weirdness. One of the first scenes in the film is an interdimensional (!) heist performed in the infinite marketplace on the Moebius-like planet; and that's just the beginning. Unlike GotG but much like THE FIFTH ELEMENT, VALERIAN is a true adventure movie driven by mystery and exploration.
