In comparison to many anti climactic film releases this year, this film retained my attention through the full duration. I was lucky enough to watch this on premiere. The aesthetic themes of the film as a whole, were so visually pleasing and the cinematography was so neat and professionally conducted. The use of Kathy's narration through the perspective of the journalist (our pov), was a rather genius act of plot and really hooked the audiences engagement.

This film had so much joyous anticipation throughout the entirety of its duration. I've never really had a clique hopeless-romantic-esc film appeal to me so much before. The soundtrack to the film was astounding and bought life back to so many new wave instant classics. I usually dispise cliff hangar films but while this one held that structure you almost knew the major conclusion of the story and It left me feeling rather fulfilled. Overall I give this film a 4 stars for its well-paced and engaging structure but I would have loved to see more cinematicaly appealing scenes.
