Sam Rockwell is fantastic, Woody Harrelson is fantastic, Christopher Walken is fantastic. All the hallmarks of a cult classic but I think I missed something? Felt too miss connected, over ambitious but yet also a let down.

I don’t know… Denzel Washington being Denzel Washington with his American accent really took me out of Ancient Rome.
Couldn’t believe the formula of the film was exactly the same. No original characters, plot or setting with a contrived ending. Was hoping for some good action scenes but the cgi felt jarring and they were left feeling flat with no stakes (I actually started falling asleep during one).
Paul Mescal wasn’t bad but he wasn’t given much to work with.…
Do you think Ben Stiller wrote that whole film as an excuse to go skateboarding through Iceland? Because fair enough.
