  Screening was followed by a Q&A with Mike Leigh, Marianna Jean-Baptiste, Michele Austin, Tuwaine Barrett moderated by Barry Jenkins. It was so interesting listening to all of them talk about the process of making this movie and the way they all masterfully crafted every character and the over arching story. The film felt like a masterclass in collaborative filmmaking and I loved every second of it.

  Also I cried every time someone was mean to Moses.

  I could watch 12 straight hours of Florence and Andrew acting together they’re so good.

  I really enjoyed the way the story was told and the way the characters were both incredibly well crafted throughout. For a film really rooted in story and characters the cinematography was a surprising highlight.
